Xiaomi Mi3 launched for ₹14,999 – Challenge to Indian OEM and Motorola

The smartphone market of India has become very large and competitive which is turning out to be blessing for the customers here. Along with the big multinational brands such as Samsung and Sony indigenous companies such as Micromax are striving to capture the customers with different range of smartphones and tablets. Most of the OEM’s are now trying to deliver smartphones with specifications quite similar to high-end mobiles but at a very low cost.


In a similar effort, Xiaomi, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has launch Mi3 which will go on sale starting from July 15. Now what’s so special about Mi3 that it has captured attention of people ?  The Mi3 from Xiaomi is offers a great specs sheet at a very low price point. Launched in China last year, the smartphone comes with a 2.3 GHz Snapdragon 800 coupled with 2 GB RAM. It is packed with a 13 MP rear camera, 2 MP front camera and massive 3050 mAh battery. Looks interesting, ain’t it ?

Xiaomi Mi3 Launch date and availability

The smartphone has been officially launched in India and is expected to be available with different online retailers such as Flipkart, Amazon and Snapdeal from July 15. The device can also be purchased from other offline retailers if it is not made exclusive to any online retailer. Xiaomi Mi3 will be available at a launch price ₹14,999 which will give a serious competition to Indian OEMs.
